Limitless naturopathy in Europe: 9th alternative practitioner symposium "The thyroid - a butterfly in motion" in the Congress Park Hanau

The thyroid is an organ that is undergoing lifelong change in both men and women. Like no other organ, it reacts to any change in the metabolism, in life situations and constantly tries to balance itself. Every tenth patient now has elevated thyroid hormones. The number of female patients is three times that of male patients. As small as the organ as a thyroid is, it has a huge impact on human metabolism. It keeps both central body functions in balance and the mental balance. This important, organic control center reacts to the smallest changes caused by stress, illnesses, pollutants and external influences. This always presents therapists with challenges. This year's 9th alternative practitioner symposium deepens the topic and tries to shed light on the background, present diagnostic and therapeutic options and convey new ideas and impulses for everyday practice.

In addition, this year's symposium entitled "Boundless Naturopathy in Europe" offers a current look beyond national borders. The profession of naturopath in Germany is one of the European health professions. But why does an international health system like that of traditional naturopathy or complementary alternative medicine and methods in Europe not yet have its own job profile? There are only national solo attempts in Switzerland and Germany. In an open discussion on the subject of “Boundless Naturopathy in Europe”, Nora Laubstein, Chair of the Association for Natural Medicine in Europe eV (ANME), discusses current perspectives and developments that are suitable for practicing medicine in other European countries as well as in Germany Health market.

The 9th alternative practitioner symposium will take place on Saturday, December 7, 2013, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Congress Park Hanau (CPH), Schlossplatz 1, 63450 Hanau. The Union of German Alternative Practitioners (UDH) Landesverband Hessen e.V. and the Association of German Alternative Practitioners e.V. address all therapists, alternative practitioners and alternative practitioner candidates with their advanced training and exhibition offerings. (pm)
